Ways to Incorporate Kale:

  • Use it as the base for your salads
  • Wilt it in soups
  • Chop up and saute with other veggies (especially cruciferous veggies, peppers, onions) and season with salt and pepper to taste–or better yet, with a creole seasoning mix!
  • Add to smoothies: 1/2 cup water, 1 leaf kale, handful of berries (to taste), and a handful of ice
